11:00AM-1:00PM CT: Preparedness Pro Radio with Kellene Bishop, the “Preparedness Pro.”

Today’s topic: Food Storage? Not Again!. Does the phrase “food storage” make you curl your lip in hated anticipation of ever having to use it? On today’s show, The Preparedness Pro is going to share with you all of her very best tips and tricks to make so-called “food storage” doable, affordable, and so delicious that you’ll think you’re planning to host a party for diplomats rather than just ensuring that your family will have all they need even in the toughest of times. After this show you’ll understand why The Preparedness Pro detests the term “food storage”–because it doesn’t represent anything that she serves in her home.

my biggest concern with most of our food storage is “most’ of it is in the basement. We were thinking about an earthquake..we would have to pray our house didn’t collapse..Don’t know what else to do with what we have and use on regular basis.

Ooooh! Food storage! My *favorite* !! Seriously, I just got back from the grocery store where freeze dried off-brand coffee was $1.29 for 8 ounces (I bought 15 jars); a 25 pound bag of sugar for $13; and 24 boxes of mac & cheese for 33 cents a box. Got home, watched the news of earthquake/tsunami/possible nuclear meltdown in Japan, and decided maybe I shoulda picked up more. Can’t wait to hear more about food storage!
