    Hi Brooke!
What I know of nutrition there is no loss due to freezing so you should be able to can burger meat once frozen. The only thing I know that changes is general consistency once the meat has been frozen but that happens in cooking outright too.

Glad you liked the show! She helped me get over my phobia!
    Best Blessings!

Awesome info! I have been wanting to try canning meat for a long time, and now think I am brave enough to do it! I have several pounds of burger in my freezer. Can I can meat that has been frozen, and if so, does it take away any nutritional value from going from the freezer to the canning jar? Thanks so much!

    Hi Debra:

We don’t (yet) have written transcripts of the shows but you can download the show and listen to it again and transcribe the recipes yourself.

    Thanks for listening!

I have been canning for many years, but my experimentations with meet have been limited. This has given me the drive to can more meats. I do have a few questions regarding the recipes she provided. Are their written transcripts that I might refer back to?

Thanks for these and the other shows.

    God Bless us all.
